Last Rites Floor Wash: Cleanse Your House Like You’re Banishing a Ghost

There comes a time in every haunted homemaker’s life when dusting just won’t cut it.

Maybe the vibes are off. Maybe something lingers in the corners. Maybe your ex walked through your house six months ago and it’s still spiritually sticky in there.

That’s when we don’t just clean—we consecrate.

🧼 What It Is:

Last Rites Floor Wash is a ritual cleansing water blend that’s part folk magic, part spiritual detox, and part deep-cleaning rage therapy.

This is how you wipe the energy slate clean.. Literally.

Tile, wood, baseboards, mirrors—anything that’s held your mood can hold a memory.

Let’s make it forget!

🌿 Ingredients:

2 cups hot water (bonus points if it’s moon- or rain-infused)

½ cup white vinegar (for spiritual and actual disinfecting)

1 tbsp dried rosemary or 6–8 drops rosemary essential oil

Dried Florals

Juice + peel of 1 lemon (or lemon EO if you’re lazy possessed)

Essential Oils

Pinch of black salt or sea salt (for protection + banishment)

Black Salt

Optional: a bay leaf with your name or sigil scratched into it

⚗️ Directions:

1. Brew it like a potion. Steep herbs in hot water for 10 minutes.

2. Strain out herbs (or don’t, if you like floating botanicals while you clean).

3. Add vinegar, lemon juice, salt. Stir clockwise while setting intention.

4. Mop floors, wipe mirrors, scrub doorknobs, and mutter softly like the haunted domestic deity you are.

🕯️ When to Use It:

After arguments

On full moons or dark moons

After guests who overstayed their welcome (living or spectral)

Whenever your home feels weird and you can’t explain why

💀 Tips from the Tomb:

Start at the back of your home and work toward the front door—sweeping energy out.

Burn rosemary or bay after as an extra sealant.

Play some slow, creepy instrumental music to really set the tone.

Open windows. Spirits hate fresh air.

🖤 Final Thoughts:

I don’t just clean—I perform Last Rites on the room.

This isn’t about perfection. This is about presence. This is about telling your home:

“You are sacred.. Let’s get you back to neutral.”

Wipe it down. Mop it out. Start fresh.

 Stay cleansed and house-proud,

—Mrs. Silent Hill🖤
